Description
This is the album that Beatles collectors have been looking for. While it isn't the first coming of the Holy Grail (it is the third), this is an immaculately peeled VG+ specimen that ranks up there with the best copies that I have seen offered anywhere. The front cover is amazing. There are no split seams or tape remnants and the glue residue is so barely visible that you would swear it is a 'first state'- only the 3/16 difference in width gives it away. There are a few scuffs on the back (one that makes the RIAA # unable to be determined) but otherwise it is a gem. The vinyl record itself is in VG shape if you actually want to play this treasure. Since I’ve owned the album it has been in archival quality, acid free inner and outer linings. I spent days searching for similar listings to compare mine to and the closest I've seen is selling for well over over U.S. $1000. Without the original inner sleeve, with the back cover imperfections and with no letter of certification however, I am willing to let my copy go at a much more affordable starting price. My 10 year old copy of Goldmine has the VG+ version of this album at U.S.$800.00 so I will start the bidding at U.S. $300 with no reserve.
