Primitive b/w Hog (I'm A Hog For You Baby) - THE GROUPIES (Atco 45-6393)
Original 1967 U.S. 7" 45. An all-time CLASSIC garage 45 2-sider here, no doubt about it. Side 1 featured on both Nuggets & Pebbles comps, of course - side 2 also featured on many comps. The only release by this now legendary New York combo. Y'know, when this disc turns up it's almost always an unplayed WHITE LABEL PROMO. In the occasional instances where it's a stock copy, it's invariably super clean, & usually w/ a cutout hole. Well, get this: here's a stock copy WITH NO CUTOUT HOLE that's far from stellar condition. Which means - some ultra hip music loving fan must have purchased this brand new, full price when it was released & then enjoyed the hell out of it! Kudos to whomever that cat was - one w/ WAY ahead-of-their-time vinyl tastes, that's for certain. Includes original record company paper sleeve.
Disc = VG- to VG (plays fine - just very lite background noise) / Labels = ring/label wear; lite stains on side 1 only
