This is the original 1965, 12" LP first release of '20th Century Fox Rodger's and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music' starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, arrange & conducted by Irwin Kostal co-starring Richard Haydn with Peggy Wood, Charmain Carr, The Bill Baird Marionettes and Eleanor Parker. Directed by Robert Wise, Screenplay by Ernest Lehman. Published by RCA Victor product of The Decca Record Company. A Maritime Enterprises Inc. Production. Mono RB-6616 (LOCD-2005). LP 1733 Disneyland Series. Made and Printed in Great Britain. 16 tracks on the LP. Printed and made by James Upton Ltd Birmingham & London, UK.

Includes lovely full size pamphlet with the story of The Sound of Music, the composers and the singers/actors story.
