Description
Original 1956 the Clovers Atlantic-1248 Black-Silver Label Original 1956 release of “The Clovers” self-titled LP on Atlantic, black and silver label #1248. Cover is nice and solid with (3) strong seams, the white has discolored with age. Front is glossy with a few dirt smudges and the back has some light writing in a few spots and a few stains (see photos). Protective sleeve inside is a Capitol one with multiple album covers shown, so I am guessing it is not original to this album but I am leaving it in “as found”. Maybe you could use it on one of your Capitol releases because it’s in pretty good condition. Album and label on both sides are pretty nice with only very light scratches to be seen. A good cleaning and it will be like new.
All of the records I am listing could probably use a good cleaning by the right person, I did not wipe or touch them other than taking the pictures. I’m not a collector so I’m not able to “grade” the album nor do I have a player to listen to it. Everyone has their own idea of what VG or NM should be so I’m not going to attempt that one.
