Description

Original 1956 Jazz Messengers LP "The Jazz Messengers" - Columbia CL 897 6-Eye label Mono.  XLP38839 - 1AA; XLP38840 - 1H.

Record is VG+ and clean with a light use and a few spindle marks. Cover is VG+ with no seam splits and a solid spine. Some shelf wear.

Record plays very well, with very few light pops and no skips. A fine sounding first pressing early jazz album. 

The artists: Donald Byrd trumpet; Hank Mobley tenor sax; Horace Silver piano; Doug Watkins bass; Art Blakey drums.

I will combine shipping for more LPs.   

LP will be properly packaged including a clear polypropylene outer-sleeve.
