Description
You are bidding on Negro Sinful Songs sung by LEAD BELLY. This is a 5 DISC ALBUM of 78s ORIGINAL and VERY RARE. Negro Sinful Songs was Lead Belly's first commercially available album, released in 1939. Most of the tracks were recorded in the New York studios of Musicraft Records in 1939. This is the ORIGINAL MULTI-RECORD ALBUM FROM 1939 with the five 78s still in their sleeves. I recently acquired these albums and I am not well versed in describing/rating records. I have not attempted to listen to these records, and, except for some minor cleaning, I have left them exactly as found. . Please note that one of the albums has a scratch in it and another as a 1/2 long chip along its edge. I have included pictures of these two flaws so please refer to them for details. I will not accept returns so please bid with caution. Because of the rarity & fragility of the albums, it will be shipped with insurance.
Many thanks for your interest. Please see my other auctions. I have a wide variety of items for sale.
