I Need Someone/Mother Tender Care/I'm Holding On/You Make Vows To Me - Jack Sparrow The Ethiopian - Orig. Mid 80's Jamaican SOUND SYSTEM DUBPLATE (10") (NATIVE)
Exclusive mid 80's? vocal selection from Jack Sparrow 'The Ethiopian' featuring re-cuts of classic Ethiopians tunes from the early 70's.
Track 1 - I Need Someone - Jack Sparrow- (Full vocal - no Sound Name called to the early 70's Studio 1/Randys Ethiopians tune) - VG- (even better with distilled water sprayed on surface whilst playing) (No jumping or sticking to acetate).
Track 2 - Mother Tender Care- Jack Sparrow - plays VG & better with distilled water (No jumping or sticking to acetate). Wicked next cut to Ethiopians at Treasure Isle.
Track 3 - I'm Holding On - Jack Sparrow - (Full vocal - plays VG- & better with distilled water on surface) (No Sound-Name called). No jumping or sticking & acetete is in fine fettle.
Track 4 - You make your vows to me- Jack Sparrow - plays VG & better with distilled water sprayed on surface whilst playing. (No Sound-Name called). No jumping or sticking.
Very nice original Jamaican Sound-System Dubplate -THEY DON'T MAKE TUNES LIKE THIS ANY MORE!!. featuring brand name artist doing over classic tune - KILLER.
N.B NO SOUND-NAME IS CALLED ON THIS DUBPLATE - So tunes can be played anytime, anywhere by anyone!. Comes in a nice original full colouyr dub sleeve for collectors.

GRADING:
MINT = unplayed ex-shop stock.
EX = almost mint except for possible light usage,or marking on label.No marks on vinyl.
VG = minimal marks,no reduction in sound quality at all.
VG- =very clean sound quality,but marks to vinyl and possible light scratches.(this is by far the most common condition of my records and proves wholly satisfactory to customers).
G+/VG- = more than acceptable playing condition,label likely to be worn or marked.
G+ = noisy-but music still appreciable.
G/G- = rough condition,noisy,could be scratched or have hiss but of great interest for historical content.
OTHER ABBREVIATIONS USED;
BLANK = original first pressing of tune given to sound system operators to play before the record was given a label and made available in the shops for the general public.
LD = label damage.
CD = Cover Damage(applicable to LP’s).
Please note: most records i sell are ex sound system copies and often have sound man markings on the labels.
