Description
This is another nice example of a rare original '60s psych lp on the green U.S. CAPITOL label #SP-266, it is a very thick heavy original '69 pressing called: OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, FROM THE COMMON PEOPLE. stamped in trail off is a triangle, there are 11 performances (see close up pics for song titles), a few are: SOON THERE'LL BE THUNDER / THEY DON'T EVEN GO TO THE FUNERAL / etc. The cover is made of thick cardboard it has ring wear on front, and light wear on back. seams and spine have NO splits, or flaking, spine print is perfect. There are No stains, fading, cut corners, drill holes, saw cuts, stickers, writing, etc. bottom right and left corners are worn. Lp has clean pristine, labels . Playing surfaces have a mirror gloss shine with NO problems like scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. Back in the late '60s early '70s I was a teen working 7 days a week, I looked forward to every pay day. because, that was the day I would go to Sam Goody record store and spend most of what I made on lps. My favorite music was psych., prog, etc. I can't believe this gem was not in my collection. if I would have known how good this lp was I surely would have owned it and played it to death, I used to listened to my headphones every night, None the less I'm glad I could make this rare orig lp available in this nice CONDITION: COVER VG++ / LP NM+ .
