Description
This is a killer, orig '66 psych 45 with some of the coolest sounding fuzz guitar. It is a U.S. pressing on the DATE promo label #2-1538 numbers are stamped in trail off. It is the only record put out by this group called: THE CHAIN REACTION, that features the lead vocals of a guy named STEVEN TALLARICO, Aka STEVEN TYLER, and I thought he was Irish. If you search for the rarest and best psych, Aerosmith, etc records, this is a must have to add to your collection. The tunes are really great and its in nice condition. Labels have only a number on each side in pencil, this can probably be erased, I did not even try. On one side only is 3 small numbers in pen. The green print is perfect and the white is clean. Playing surfaces are very glossy with NO scratches, groove wear, defects, etc. Has only a small handful of very light surface scuffs mostly on one side that do not affect play. I played both sides, they sounded clean and clear with NO annoying background noise. I am also including the original Date sleeve it came in. Has only very light wear, NO tears, wrinkles, folds, stains, writing, stickers, etc. A very tough original U.S. 45 to find especially in this CONDITION: SLEEVE NM - - - / 45 NM - - - . TODAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THE DRUMMER OF CHAIN REACTION, HE HAD MENTIONED TO ME CHAIN REACTION PUT OUT TWO 45s, ONE WAS ON THE VERVE LABEL, & THIS WAS THE OTHER ONE. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND AND NOT MANY WERE PRESSED. GOOD LUCK!
