Description
This is an original '64 thick heavy vinyl U.S. pressing lp on flat black CAPITOL label with rainbow color band, matrix numbers are stamped in trail off followed by W3 other side X2. . Also, stamped is the IAM triangle logo. Cover is thick cardboard and strong, only has a hint of wear and browning, no ring wear, seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, punch holes, saw cuts, cut corners, stickers, writing, stains, etc. Seams and spine are strong, spine print very good, lp has near pristine labels with only a hint of spindle hole wear, vinyl has a deep glossy shine with no groove wear, defects, warps, bad scratches, sleeve stains, etc. Does have light surface scuffs on both sides, and 3 tiny scratches you can feel, they do not affect play, I played an excerpt from every track, they sounded clean, clear, and dynamic. with no background noise or distortion, I heard only a very few, very occasional, light background ticks , these early Capitol originals are durable, rugged, and sound amazing, and I have a very sensitive cartridge. Orig Capitol inner sleeve has no seam splits, CONDITION: Cover VG + + / Lp VG + .
