This is a rare original '60 deep groove, thick, heavy, rigid U.S. lp on the SEECO rainbow label #CELP 440, called: MAKE THE MAN LOVE ME by JOYCE CARR. There are 12 tunes: ROLLING ROAD / I KNOW WHAT THE SCORE IS / LITTLE GIRL BLUE / I GOT IT BAD AND THAT AIN'T GOOD / I TALK TO THE TREES / SAD SAD SAD / etc. ELLIS LARKINS did the arrangements and played the piano. with CHARLIE SHAVERS on trumpet and JOE BENJAMIN on string bass. It is a wonderful jazz lp in great condition. Labels are very clean with NO spindle marks, The lp looks hardly played if at all. Playing surfaces have a very deep glossy mirror like shine, NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. I noticed only a few tiny sleeve stains here and there and just 3 very faint surface scuffs, both do not affect play. I played excerpts, they sounded clean and clear with NO distortion or annoying background noise. This durable deep groove pressing sounds great. The cover has a beautiful color artwork on front with nice graphics and print. This front artwork is near perfect with only very light wear near the bottom, it is quite vibrant in person and would look nice in a frame. The back has light browning. Cover is made of thick cardboard with some spine flaking bottom left corner. All of bottom seam split, some of top seam split and top right corner lightly bent. song titles and notes on back are perfect, spine print is good.
