Description
Original 12" double vinyl LP record of the soundtrack to the animated film "Heavy Metal," also from 1981. The record is on the Full Moon / Asylum Records label (Catalog #DP-90004) and comes in a gatefold sleeve.
The jacket has some normal storage wear along with some corner bumps, light ringwear, and small creases around the edges and is in VG condition. The original inner sleeves are also in VG condition; the Record 1 sleeve has a large seam split in the bottom edge; the Record 2 sleeve has a tiny one. (Please see photos for greater detail.) The vinyl plays fine & has been play-tested all the way through; there is the occasional light pop/crackle, but by and large it sounds great. I rate it VG+; possibly toward the lower end of that condition, depending on how finicky a listener is, but there's nothing bad about it either aurally or visually. It has been my personal listening copy for many years!

Record will be carefully shipped in a cardboard mailer. I grade vinyl using Goldmine standards as a guide and Near Mint is my highest grade for preowned vinyl. I am a longtime record collector (not a store), and I ship Monday-Friday. I have only one copy of most items in my inventory.
Please know that vinyl is an imperfect medium, and new vinyl (especially colored vinyl and picture discs) can be subject to minor surface noise and/or imperfections. I rate sealed vinyl "mint" but, as any seasoned record buyer knows, pressing quality will vary.
Your package will usually go out the next business day after purchase, though in rare cases it may take two business days. I will gladly combine shipping if requested prior to payment.
