Description
Lightning Strikes Again/Original Hits/A Collector's Item LP - LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS (Dart D LP 8000) mono
Original 1962 mono LP. 10 tracks of superb country blues recorded at Gold Star Studios in Houston, TX in the late '40s/early '50s by this Texas blues master. Including: "Travelers Blues," "Penitentiary Blues," "Short Haired Woman," "Lightnin' Boogie," more winners. A hard-to-find album & definitely a 'must have' for any/all blues fans/collectors. Winning bidder, please do not send payment until you receive my invoice - shipping charges reflected by ebay are usually not accurate.
Disc = VG+ to EX- (fair amount of scuffs, but plays thru just fine, w/ some lite pops & background noise, but nothing that obtrusive - pressing flaw = press bump on side 1, track 1 causes a 3 or 4 revolution click (but no skip)/Cover = slight cover/ring wear; slight corner wear, all 4 corners; edge wear, top & bottom (almost seam splits, but not quite); slight spine wear; number written on front w/ grease paint; tiny tear where sticker was removed, back upper left corner/Labels = A-1
My grading is very strict & guaranteed. I use: NM/EX/VG and +/- variables. I've been collecting/dealing vinyl for almost 40 years. Bid with confidence. Also, please note - I do not gouge on postage/shipping charges - shipping costs will be approximately what the post office charges me, give or take a bit. If I overestimate the cost, I will refund you.
