Limited Indie Edition on Exclusive Red Colored Vinyl!
Equipped with a Dadaist "meta-humor" that pays tribute to legendary US comedian Andy Kaufman, Oliver Tree's songs and videos explore the absurdity of modern culture, obsession with fame, and explore and dissect social media. ALONE IN A CROWD is meant to guide reflection on both the light and darkness of human nature in the context of popular culture, while holding a mirror up to us all and powerfully embracing the absurdity of it all. Loneliness, isolation and the human experience are the themes of ALONE IN A CROWD, which also introduces a new character named Cornelius Cummings, a fashion designer preparing the runway for his latest work (also seen in the video for "Bounce"). Well then: dinner is served!
ALONE IN A CROWD is the third album by the US artist and follows "Cowboy Tears", which was released in 2022. In total, Oliver Tree boasts more than 4 billion global streams, over 1 billion YouTube views, nearly 15 million TikTok followers and a total of 30 million social media followers. Recent releases include the collaboration "Here We Go Again" with David Guetta and his guest appearance on the song "Voices" by KSI.
