Description

Oliver Nelson [with Eric Dolphy, Richard Williams, Richard Wyands, George Duvivier, Roy Haynes] SCREAMIN’ THE BLUES. New Jazz 8243.  Mono original.  Deep Groove. Bergenfield on label and jacket. Silver on purple label.  Disc is NM-, has been played a lot, though never damaged. Plays VG++ Jacket is  NM-:  one slightly fraying corner, and about 5 small chips off the top edge of the hard, glossy cover.

 

Here’s the second of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
