Vytas Brenner fue un cantante, pianista, teclista, percusionista y compositor venezolano nacido el 19 de septiembre de 1946 en Tübingen, Alemania, y fallecido el 18 de marzo de 2004 en Salzburgo, Austria. Brenner fue pionero de la música en Venezuela. Su carrera se caracterizó por la experimentación y la fusión de música electrónica, rock sinfónico, música tradicional venezolana y latina en general. Brenner es considerado uno de los músicos experimentales y sinfónicos más importantes e influyentes del mundo. Sus discos de los años 1980 y 90 son descritos como irrelevantes artísticamente, pero sus primeros cinco álbumes son frecuentemente citados entre los mejores de los géneros progresivos o sinfónicos. Estos discos los grabó con un grupo al que llamó Ofrenda e incluía algunos de los músicos más reconocidos de Venezuela, como Pablo Manavello y Carlos Quintero.
