Description

I am a volunteer who helps to sell donated items that will benefit our local Humane Society. 


I am not an expert on recording, LPs or NASA projects but try my best at doing the research.

 

We received this box set of recordings produced by NASA for the Voyerger as a generous donation to raise funds to help take care of the dogs and cats at the shelter until we find their “forever” home.  All proceeds go directly to the Humane Society.


It is new in a sealed box.  My research leads me to believe that the box contains:

  • triple 140 gram pressing on gold colored vinyl
  • contains all Voyager Golden Record audio content remastered from the original analog tapes
  • 3x heavyweight jackets w/ gold ink on black print
  • 96-page softcover book featuring all images encoded on the Golden Record, scanned from the master slides
  • essay by Timothy Ferris, producer of the original golden record
  • gold foil print on 12" x 12" archival paper
  • Voyager trajectories felt slipmat
  • deluxe record box w/ pull ribbon
  • digital download card included
  • music label: Ozma Records 2018
