Description
This is a very rare limited edition of only 1,500 pressings on vinyl, from 1984. Released by Metal Storm Records in Maywood, CA. Features four rare tracks: The original version of Rotten To The Core, Fatal If Swallowed, and Overkill. Plus NYC punk band Dead Boy's The Answer cover. This was Overkill's first vinyl release, predating the Megaforce Records "Feel The Fire" full length studio album by over a year. These are scarce today and a must own for any fan of Overkill and '80s thrash metal. I actually saw these guys play a NJ high school here supporting this independent release EP in 1984!
The vinyl has several light scratches and a few medium ones. I did play test both sides a few times. It played without any skips but there is an occasional pop, I heard about 5 of them on side one and 3 on side two. The vinyl is in G+ condition. The labels are scratched with spindle marks,and are in VG condition. The cover is in VG condition, a few inches of splitting is occurring along the spine. Otherwise the edges are worn, with spine creases and slight ring wear is visible. I can envision this album being cranked out loud back in my day!
