The model on the "Sheer Ecstasy" cover is Diane Webber (07/29/1932-08/19/2008), a well-known 1950s nude model who in the 1960s became a leading figure in the nudist lifestyle movement. Using her birth name Marguerite Empey, she was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month twice--May 1955 and February 1956. She also appears on the covers of "Satin Brass" by The George Shearing Quintet, Nelson Riddle's "Sea Of Dreams", Les Baxter's "Jewels Of The Sea", "Chile Con Cugie" by Xavier Cugat And His Orchestra, and "Jazz For Relaxation" by Marty Paich, Larry Bunker, and Joe Mondragon.
