Description

Hello!  Here is the highly sought after Mono LP of  'Dock of the Bay' by Otis Redding, Volt 419.  This is only the second copy I've seen in over 20 years! The mono mix differs from its stereo counterpart with a stronger bass frequency and less reverb on the vocals, which gives a more lively feel to the music!
Matrix:  Side 1 - V-0-12751-1A CT T               Side 2 - V-0-12752-1A CT T               The Matrices show that this record was pressed at the Columbia Terre Haute Plant.  The -1A in the deadwax shows this is an original first pressing, and given the rarity of the mono version for this particular title, it's very likely that this is from the first and only mono stampers used for this record.  This is also the last Otis Redding album to be released commercially in mono!
The Mono Cover shows some ring-wear on the front and is in Very Good Condition (VG).  Spine is legible, and the Opening Edge is Crisp!  There is a 'Demonstration' stamp on the back and some wear to the edges and corners.  Overall, very Clean and Sturdy!
The Vinyl is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition with a few marks and scuffs that are only noticeable under a bright light!  The Surfaces are sparkling with gloss on this one!  Playback was nearly immaculate on my system!  If you are looking for a Nice Mono copy of this title in Excellent condition, then this is it!
Labels - VG+ with 2-4 spindle traces on both sides.
