ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - La Route De Salina (French Motors MT 44001, 1970)
This is mega-rare French Press of original soundtrack to the movie 'La Route De Salina'. It's a great and sometimes truly unbelievable, psychedelic soundtrack - with fantastic Pink Floyd-like sounds (from their 1968-69 period) created by the awesome Clinic group. All tunes were sung in English (one by French 60's chanteur Christophe), but most of the music is instrumental. Side B gets really psychedelic with lots of Hammond organ and mellotron, fuzz guitars, psychedelic effects and real progressive playing (The Chase, Green Dream, Red Mountain).
Except Pink Floyd's 'More' this is the best psych-prog soundtrack EVER! I swear!
Two fragments from this LP were used by Quentin Tarantino on his Kill Bill 2 movie!
Cover: EXCELLENT+ Fully laminated cover is in perfect as-new (MINT) condition except a few, very light, yellowish stains on back. NO creases, NO writings; NO ringwears; NO edgewears; NO HIDDEN FLAWS! Factory sticker on back.
Record: MINT Looks unplayed! No single mark on! The sound of the record is very clear and dynamic - simple great! Both labels are immaculate.
