The Movie: The Aristocats (1970)
Produced by Walt Disney Productions, The Aristocats was the first animated feature to be fully greenlit and completed after Walt Disney's death. It remains a beloved classic for its "jazz-age" energy and charming character dynamics.

The Plot: Set in Paris in 1910, a retired opera diva leaves her fortune to her cat, Duchess, and her three kittens (Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse). The jealous butler, Edgar, kidnaps them and abandons them in the countryside.

The Journey: With the help of a smooth-talking alley cat named Thomas O'Malley, the feline family embarks on a journey back to Paris, meeting a cast of colorful characters—including the jazz-playing "Scat Cat" and his band.

The Music: The Aristocats and Other Cat Songs (DQ-1333)
Released on the Disneyland label (budget "DQ" series), this LP is a hybrid album. While it features the major hits from the film, it also includes songs from other Disney properties to fill out the playtime.
