Description
Here is an amazing artifact: a 1969 LP acetate of Oscar Brown performing original demos for the long-lost Black Power-themed Broadway musical Big-Time Buck White. The show ran very briefly and starred Muhammad Ali. As far as I can tell, even the cast recording was never released. This demo was cut at Annex Studios in Hollywood, evidently from Universal Pictures--which suggests that it may have been pitched as a film rather than a stage play at some point. In any case, this acetate may be the most complete audio document of the work. The audio clips linked below come directly from the disc:

The disc is in VG condition. It has a few surface flaws that cause clicks and pops here in there, and some light background crackle throughout.
