Description

ORIGINAL / Rockabilly 45 / ELVIS PRESLEY / SUN 223 / Mystery Train / I Forgot. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. I purchased this item in the fall of 1955 in Springfield MO while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood MO after basic training. The first two or three stores hadn't heard of Elvis at the time. I'm suspecting that this is a first pressing as I have found no press markings other than the dimple on side B which does not affect the sound quality. I can hear no pops or other erroneous sounds, but maybe that's just my lousy hearing. The record was played a lot on a drop-down record player/changer so there are some of those wear marks on the vinyl as well as on the label. The sleeve is after market - not original. The last photo shows a mark on side B but, so far as I can tell, does not affect the sound quality.
