Description

Hi All, the thinning out of my collection continues and I’ve sorted out a few more choice cuts in the collection for your consideration as well as a few ‘vinyl staples’ for the discerning new entrant to collecting.  For your consideration we have:

Title: LIVE AT KELVIN HALL by THE KINKS

Cat No: NSPL 18191 – STEREO

Issue: Original 1967 issue on the PINK PYE Label

Vinyl Condition visual: Visually, the vinyl grades as VG+; it has retained much of its gloss and a little of its sheen.  The surfaces to both sides are in VG+ condition with just a few light marks and a few very, very light scratches, however these are all non-feelable and pretty superficial and do not affect play.

Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as G+; audible static, clicks and pops are present during the playback. More obvious at the run-in/out to both sides and between tracks, however, some static can be heard during the music. This is more evident when wearing headphones and less so when listening through speakers. . There are no skips or jumps and the vinyl lays flat on the turntable.

Label Condition: EX; fine examples, aside from some very and I mean very light spindle marks there is no other damage, writing or unwanted blemishes to the labels at all. The text is clear and legible.

Cover Front: The front of this laminated sleeve grades as VG. Numerous but mild creases in places particularly at the edges/spine, aside from this, it is a very good cover with no rips or tears just age related marks, a little light ring-wear when held to the light and a few dings at the opening edge.

Cover Back: VG+; the unlaminated back is in VG+ condition overall, one or two mild creases and a little ring-wear starting to show, all age related and commensurate with age and grade. The white areas are a little aged but all the flip-backs are in good solid condition.

Spine: EX; the spine is intact and most of the laminate is in place.  Most but not all the text is legible – a few cracks in places. Its retained a pretty decent square shape.

Corners: G; some mild knocks to all corners, more so at the opening edge.

Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.

Payment: Most unusually I have had a few non-payers recently; therefore, please only bid if you intend paying for the item in 7 day’s. Much appreciated.
