You are bidding on an original pressing of the Soundhouse Tapes (Rock Hard ROK 1). These are the original demos Iron Maiden made before being signed to EMI. 5,000 copies were then pressed in a limited edition vinyl 7” 45 EP, and distributed exclusively through the UK fan club, making this one of the most sought-after Maiden collectibles. The sleeve, which has minor ringwear, is conservatively estimated as VG+. It is the original cardboard sleeve that opens from the top (unlike the paper sleeves that you see on the bootleg version). The vinyl, also conservatively estimated as VG+, contains the original etchings in the run off grooves. Side 1 reads , EG SA ROK-1-A-LYN7627-IT; Side 2, , EG SA ROK-1-B-LYN7627-IT. Again, this is proof that this is one of the limited edition pressings. If you have been monitoring e-Bay for the last few months, you will know that this EP has been going for some very large sums of money.
