Hi All, and welcome to the continuation of the thinning out of my boy’s stuff.  For your consideration we have: 

 

Title: FROM NOWHERE By THE TROGGS

Issue: Original 1966 issue on the FONTANA Label

 

Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as VG+; the vinyl retains much of its gloss and deep sheen and is very clean.  There is the minimum of handling marks and a few very light surface scratches, mostly of the type associated with removing the record from the sleeve.  

 

Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG; There is some crackle and minor low level clicks/pops in a places throughout the playback but nothing too drastic at all. It sounds so much better on speakers - less so when listening thru headphones, that said, it is a VG copy and easily listenable. 

 

Label Condition: VG;  Clean and there is no  damage, writing or unwanted blemishes at all to either side.

 

Cover Front: The front cover Grades as VG ; the laminated front is clean and undamaged and has retained its shape.  The central image is clear and the lamination is excellent, just some very minor and mild laminate creasing in places and some ring wear starting to develop.  All edges/sides are secure. 

 

Cover Back: VG; the unlaminated back is in VG condition being clean and damage free.  There is some very minor ageing as you would expect to the white areas, nothing drastic at all. The flipbacks are all very secure and in good order.  

 

Spine: EX; the spine is intact, clean with good lamination cover. It is has retained a fairly square appearance and all the text is very much legible. 

 

Corners: VG; Mild bumps, but mostly retaining square edges.  

 

 

Summary:  If you collect this wonderful label, and this fab band, and why wouldn’t you, this is a fab one to have in the collection.  It's a cracking album to listen to; stuff from this period is certainly going to get more difficult to find in the future as a new wave of vinyl junkies are on the march. Here’s your chance to grab a fairly decent copy of this TROGGS classic. Despite the background crackle in places overal I grade this album as VG-.  I send all records out in proper mailers with stiffeners so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no quibble refund If you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course.  I can’t be fairer than that.  Good Luck.
