ORIGINAL EARLY NICOLE LABEL 17.5CM CARDBOARD ? CELLULOID ? SINGLE SIDED RECORD

Up for grabs is this really unusual record which i guess is well over 100 years old...an original coloured single sided 17.5cm (just under 7 inch) Nicole Record gramophone disc (78rpm) titled La Paloma played by British Imperial Military Band ,  serial number 2830...all the above details are stamped in white so no paper label and scratched in numbers on the inside edge of the record 2830-4-B-1..... on the back of the disc is stamped Use Nicole Needles With Nicole Records which i assume are the thorn or fibre type ?.
I really have no idea what this disc is made from but it looks to be made of cardboard which is coated in some early vinyl or plastic to take the grooves so if anybody knows please email and i will amend the listing as i have never seen one of these before.
I guess that these particular types of discs are now fairly rare to find , i'm not really quite sure of the exact age of it but guess its late victorian or early 20th century....please check out my other auctions as i have 17 different discs to list similar to this on various labels and i will also be listing an original oak carrying case which is designed to hold this particular size of disc....the case is made by the Gramophone Company.
Size of the disc is 17.5cm (just under 7 inches).
Condition considering its great age is ok , i haven't played it so i have no idea what it sounds like or if it will play at all ?....there are no cracks and no chips  , few small surface scratches which i guess is to be expected but on the whole it looks quite clean....the front surface has just started to separate from the back surface around the edge as i guess these were made in two pieces , i wasn't able to photograph that part so please take note of all of the above points before you bid and buy.
I have described the record as accurately as possible but if you have any more questions please email....i'm afraid i don't know a great deal about these particular types of records as i have never come across any before , just something i aquired a few years ago in a job lot of records i bought and i thought the case and discs looked interesting so i stored them.
Postage is only estimated for signed for and insured so please do not pay until i send you your invoice through as none of the records are packed and weighed yet but if you happen to overpay i always send refunds through paypal....i may decide to send by ordinary 2nd class as that is insured for up to £20 anyway.....it will be very well packed so i'm sure will arrive safely.
