Music in a Doll's House was released in July 1968 and charted at No. 35 in the UK to critical acclaim, thanks to strong support from BBC Radio 1's John Peel. Now widely acknowledged as a classic of British psychedelic rock, it showcased many of the stylistic and production features that are archetypal of the genre. The album's highly original sound was characterised by Chapman's vocals, rooted in the blues and R&B, combined with several unusual instruments for a rock band, courtesy of the presence of multi-instrumentalists Grech and King, including saxophones, violin, cello and harmonica.
Condition (in line with Goldmine Magazine guidelines)
Vinyl- VERY GOOD PLUS. Record that show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Marks are barely visible and do not affect the actual playback. Visually is very close to NEAR MINT!
Label- NEAR MINT-. Shows little to no wear ring wear or discoloration with no real spindle marks to speak of.Sleeve- VERY GOOD PLUS. Shows some slight wear, but the corners are in great condition and the spine is intact with all writing clearly visible. If not for a couple of minor creases, this would be rated higher. No names written on the cover!!
