AUCTION SPECIFICS AND CONDITION:

THE SEMINAL AND LEGENDARY ELVIS PRESLEY'S RARE ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS MONO LP - Released CHRISTMAS 1957.

You are bidding for for one of the rarest albums and most sought after records in the history of Rock & Roll - Elvis Presley's RCA-Victor release of his fabled Christmas lp.  The vinyl on this copy is fantastic!  I played it once a year on Christmas Eve on a high end audiophile turntable.  It plays smooth and silky.  The cover is in exceptional condition!  I have a reserve of $250 on it, and that is  what I paid for it 7 or 8 years ago from a fellow dealer friend.

THE COVER:

The cover of this lp is in outstanding condition. Sharp corners, no writing, no seam splits.  There is a crack in the spine where it has a seam.   The spine on these lps is actually glued to the cover - this one sports the silver print.  It could be repaired easily, but I will leave that up to the new owner.  Other than that - not a problem anywhere. Beautiful color graphics on the photo front with bold crisp colors.  No dirt, rubs, or ringwear on the majestic 50's photo!  The booklet is solidly attached without any problems.  Stunning full color photos inside are just beautiful.  The protrait on the back is also outstanding in appearance.   A gorgeous copy of this landmark and incredibly rare 1st issue of this lp.  Overall a solid VG++ rating

THE RECORD/  VINYL / LABELS / INNER SLEEVE:

Vinyl on the LP is full gloss NM-, looks like new and hardly played.  Labels are a nice VG!  They look better in person than in the photos.  Light spindle marks. The only detriment is a name tag on one label.  Those too can be removed and will be the option of the purchaser.
