Description
CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (cat# MFSL 2-128)
Original 1982 Audiophile Pressing
This is the original 1984 Mobile Fidelity pressing of Chicago Transit Authority, the 1st album by Chicago (cat # MFSL 2-128) and it is as close to perfect as they come - with no visible flaws at all absolutely pristine! Mobile Fidelity is famous for using the original master studio tape and transferring it at 1/2 speed to capture every nuance of the recording. The records are specially plated and pressed in Japan by JVC with their highest quality vinyl, a proprietary blend called "supervinyl," which produces maximum clarity, an extra-quiet album and a playing lifespan 5x longer than standard mass-produced vinyl. This copy was purchased at the time of it's release, played a few times and has been safely stored away. Please have a look at the photos and good luck with your bidding!
