PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. 1970 HARD FUZZED HIPPIE BLUES ROCK WITH WASTED VIBE
JAMUL
USA - LIZARD RECORDS = A 20101
RARE ... and sought ...
Killer late '60s US heavy hippie rock sounds issued in 1970 with a down-and-wasted vibe.
Original 1970 first pressing vinyl of a rough & rowdy bluesrocker outfit with impressive guitar and tight jams throughout...The album, though being issued on the small Lizard label, may be not so hopelessly obscure, but the band surely is. JAMUL (pronounced 'Ha-Mool') was named after a small town somewhere out in the back country near San Diego, there is almost no information available on this outfit. They are: Steve Williams, Bob Desnoyers, Ron Armstrong and John Fergus.
Formerly known as The Jamul City Funk Band. Armstrong was formerly with The Misfits, Desnoyers in The Friendly Grin, and Williams with Puzzle and The Voxmen. The Jamul City Funk Band was a trio until just a few months before recording, when Williams came aboard. This gave the band the distinct advantage of three lead singers trading off on individual tracks. The Jamul album has much to recommend it, particularly to fans of loud hard rock. Of the eleven tracks that make up the album, eight are original. There's a brutal cover of Tobacco Road.
Their music is mostly heavy blues rock with extremely powerful vocals and great guitar... collectors into bands like CREAM, take note. Best songs are "Tobacco Road" with a strong distortion guitar solo and thundering blues harp, "Ramblin Man" (not the Allman Brothers' song) and the apocalyptic "Valley Thunder". Their cover of the Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash' is cool with a good progressive guitar solo. Overall this is better than some of the 100-dollar-records you see for sale.

Long Tall Sally
Sunrise Over Jamul
Movin' To The Country

Jumpin' Jack Flash
