Although It's A Beautiful Day were one of the earliest and most important San Francisco bands to emerge from the 1967 Summer of Love, they never quite achieved the success of their contemporaries such as The Grateful Dead and Santana, with whom they had connections. It’s A Beautiful Day created a unique blend of rock, blues, folk, classical and world beat styles during the seven years the band was officially together. Their first album is unsurpassed in within their discography, featuring a timeless blend of stunning tracks....
It's a Beautiful Day, released in 1969, featured classic tracks "White Bird", "Hot Summer Day", "Time Is" and "Bombay Calling". The vocals and violin playing of David LaFlamme plus Pattie Santos' singing attracted a lot of attention including FM underground rock radio where they are at the top of the regular playlist. "White Bird" should have been a smash AM radio hit but was not promoted correctly as such. Nevertheless, the album maintains a a level of the highest standing by collectors of the San Francisco sixties sound...

CONDITION: The thick gatefold cover is solid, near EX excellent, smallest shelf wear was starting, not really anything much and very minor... no split seams, no bends and no writing...
