First off, let me thank you for viewing my auctions. This LP is the last of the original 1 owner batch. Bid on this one or any of the auctions ending before this and you will be very pleased indeed. I rarely see records like this and if anything, I may have undergraded them since I don't use a grade of mint. The LPs that follow have been picked up from various sources and I stand behind them all because I don't have time to list junk. But this one, and the ones preceeding it, are truly rare in their condition.
Up for auction at NO reserve is "Orgy in Rhythm" by Art Blakey on the West 63rd St. Blue Note label, catalog # BLP 1554. The flat edge "deep groove (both sides)" record with RVG and "ear symbol" etched in the dead wax is NM-. The cover is NM/NM-. Email with questions or if you need more specific info.
Most of the records I am selling this week came from a small, but incredible jazz collection I bought from the original owner. The were played once and recorded to a reel to reel tape player. They are the kind of records in the kind of condition that we all dream about.
All items are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts by a former record collector. Shipping for this one is $6.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the lower 48 or Airmail to Canada. $11.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $13.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific. Multiple winners will be combined and pay actual shipping costs. Buy a bunch and save. I will not ship surface rate overseas as it takes too long and too many packages get lost or destroyed.
