Omega Red Star - 'Trombetas Fredi Es A Rettenetes Emberek' - I think the original 1968 Hungarian release on the Qualiton label. Catalogue number is SLPX. 17390. Matrix numbers in the run off follow the catalogue number with A VI MG and B IV MG. I am assuming that this is an early or original pressing but know little about the label - I would be very grateful for any further information if it needs clarification.
The group is obviously Hungarian and recorded one LP which was released in the UK in the same year entitled 'Omega Red Star from Hungary' (I believe this is quite sought after). There is a crossover of several tracks between the albums. The music itself is difficult to categorise as there are lots of influences - it is quite 'poppy' but with psych influences on some of the tracks. The title I believe translates as 'Trumpeter Freddy and the Terrible People'.
