Description

This is the "OLD BOOT WINE" 1972 UK LP by SPIROGYRA 1st Press release on the PEG label.

The LP was bought on its release in 1972, and is an early 1st pressing.

The vinyl is on the PEG label, number PEG 13, and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers and "stampers":

  • Side 1:    PEG 13 A-1U  "1" "G"
  • Side 2:    PEG 13 B-2U  "1" "G"

Record is NEAR MINT the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with no spindle marks on side 1.

It is not graded as MINT as there are a few spindle marks on side 2, that can be seen in direct light.

The LP plays like a new record,  and is quiet between tracks, with no pops or bangs.

The cover is VG+,  and is a soft non-laminated cover.

There is no noticeable ringwear on front or back - the front and back faces of the cover are in excellent shape.

Due to the material used for the cover - there is wear on the corners and edges and also the spine is 50% worn so that the lettering is not clear.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
