Description

Davis Oistrakh with the London Symphony Orchestra, Bruch Scottish Fantasia op 46 Hindemith Violin Concerto, stereo LP, Decca SXL 6035, England 1963.

Label states recording first published 1963.  Grooved ED1.  Matrixes ZAL5676-1E ; ZAL5677-1E.

Collectable record but read the following.

This record comes from a small collection that had been in storage a long time.  Browning on the covers is evident, vinyl was very dusty.  In some cases I have had to replace inner sleeves.  Records are generally very good to excellent visually.  I have cleaned and played the records twice.  While the sound has improved markedly on the SXL series, there is still some noise.  SAX are a bit more crackly, ASD worse.  I am only selling the best and rarest ones.  If you have access to professional cleaning facilities they may improve more.  Nothing can be guaranteed, however.

Cover has some writing on edge of rear, a little foxing.

Vinyl is quite shiny with only a few very light marks.  Sounds very good, but with light noise.
