OHM AND THE SECRET SOURCES “Exit From A Dream” Canadian Minimal Synth Wave
1984/Canada/Ohm Records OHM 84007….. here’s a nice copy of this scarce original Canadian minimal synth-new wave ep and features Neil Young’s sister Astrid on bass and vocals. The cover is in nice VG+ condition with light storage/ring wear, light corner bumps and wear, crease lower left rear, light crease along left edge, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in glossy M- like new condition. Clean labels. Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp's, good luck and thanks for looking!
Peter Morrison "OhmAngel", was born in Budapest, moved to New York then to Toronto with his family, where he started composing original music on the guitar at the age of 13.
Astrid Young, sister of Neil Young, played bass and background vocals for Ohm & the Secret Sources. In the eighties, she sang with Sacred Child, a glam metal band and released a few albums. In the 90's, it was Blackthorne, Dramarama, and the Shrubbers. She released her first solo album album entitled "Brainflower" in 1995. In 2006, she released a folk psych solo album in 2006 entitled 'Matinee', and toured with Booker T to promote the record. She was a back-up vocalist on numerous Neil Young albums including Harvest Moon, Unplugged, and Are You Passionate?. In 2002, the rock band iST released a CD entitled Pokalolo Paniolo, where she performed lead vocals and played the bass guitar. Astrid has also co-written music with many fellow musicians, including Nancy Wilson and the late West Arkeen.

GRADING
MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.
NM or M- or Mint Minus is the same to me, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches. If I list a rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
