VINYL is EX+
Full gloss vinyl has very few faint hairlines/sleevemarks that are light enough to be almost entirely inaudible. LP plays extremely clean and clear throughout. Labels are pristine.

COVER is VG+
Bright, clean cover has moderate/light shelf wear and 1 very small surface tear from removed price tag on front u.r. corner. Bumped u.l. corner. No creases, writing or soil. Top seam has wear, bottom seam and spine are superb. No splits.

.Santa Cruz Mountains, Northern California.

EXCELLENT and very obscure Mountain Hippie band that produced only this one LP, though they were a huge local favorite with a rabid cult following.

They lived together in a commune in the Santa Cruz Mountains "The Oganookie Farm"; played all over the greater mountain area and Santa Cruz proper, from 1970-74.

Most well-known member was George Stavis, formerly of late 60's psych band "Federal Duck"-later producing a couple of quite decent solo LPs. Other members were Bruce Frye, Jack Bowers, Bob Stern and Tim Ackerman. They often had major psych artist sit-ins at their gigs, including Jerry Miller of Moby Grape and Charlie Prichard of Conqueroo.

Very versatile and accomplished musicians throughout; tunes range from Grateful Dead style psych to Dan Hicks/Hot Licks 1930's blues swing style (with - uncredited -. female backing singers) to backwoods hippie rock and bluegrass inspired electric power jams.
