Capitol T-2442 mono Rubber Soul by The Beatles. This is a New item, still originally factory sealed.  This record was found in an LP carrying case which had been stored in a closet for decades.  Having been stored in the dark, not exposed to light all this time, this copy really does look STUNNING!!!! Pictures just don't do it justice. The dark areas are crisp, bold and clean. The white areas are probably more pure white than any you ever seen, and the purest white you may ever see. I haven't seen an LP with colors this bold, and white areas this white, since unpacking record boxes from the distributor when I worked in a retail reord store in the late 70s. I'm not exaggerating, or trying to falsely hype this record. It's honestly above and beyond in the newness factor........ It hasn't had a chance to fade a bit, not being exposed to light all this time. It's still in a box now, to keep it pure white..... See the above condition section, and photos for complete details. On the left side, back cover, there are four very small, unobtrusive, light brown glue spots.  Photo #6 shows the largest one. On the right side of the back cover, there are a few vertical, FAINT rub lines, underneath the shrink wrap. See photos. These are not on the shrink, but underneath, on the surface of the paper slick. They are not immediately evident when looking at the back cover for the first time, and they are NOT wear issues, they are manufacturer issues.......There is no tiny number beside the RIAA logo, indicating the first pressing run, done in Scranton, Pa..............In summary, this is the earliest first pressing by Capitol, an astoundingly well preserved MONO copy, and STILL SEALED!!!!!  Grade still Sealed!!!  ............
