This is a rare opportunity to win an exclusive signed Hank Marvin poster featuring his Fender Stratocaster reissue model. The full colour poster measures 31cm x 42cm with Hank's autograph in Black ink
During a visit to the English Fender headquarters, Hank kindly spent his time chatting to Fender Sales staff and signed some of these fine commemorative posters. The unsigned copies were only made available to Fender dealers, making a copy with an autograph, rarer still!


The story goes that Hank wanted the same guitar that James Burton used on the Ricky Nelson show. All the boys in the band fell in love with the Fender guitar and asked their manager to buy one
Hank's famous red Strat guitar was purchased from Manny's in New York and was shipped across to England. It was the top of the line Fiesta Red model with Gold hardware
Years later in 1986, John Hill of Fender UK, threw a party for Hank and presented him with a recreation of that historic guitar
Many famous players attended that party - to honour Hank - including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Richard Thompson and Dave Gilmour, to name a few
Later on, Fender made a number of Limited Edition Hank Marvin Strats, this poster commemorates Hank's party at Fender UK and the launch of his famous Fiesta Red Stratocaster model

NB: This Fender Hank Marvin Poster was part of a limited edition of unsigned promotional posters, distributed to a few top Fender dealers in the UK
Hank, very kindly spent some time, signing a small number of these posters during a visit to the Fender UK Headquarters in Wilberforce rd. London, (Arbiter Group PLC, Wilberforce Rd. NW9) in 1998/9

This makes this item not only a rarity - but as Hank signed each one individually - each poster is totally unique
The ideal present for any Fender guitar collector or Shadows fan, the poster will be shipped in a stout cardboard tube
