Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Superclean original first pressing in tip-top condition, released in 1978. Old eBay prices: £411 + £375 + £355 + $432. A legendary DIY punk classic from England, topped with Johnny Rotten influenced SEX PISTOLS voice. A MILESTONE IN DO-IT-YOURSELF PUNK HISTORY. YOU WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER ONE. Although 1,000 records of the first 7” by O LEVEL were pressed only 500 records were born in original ‘student’ sleeve. As you know the other 500 records were issued in different picture cover which is called the 'map' sleeve. The sleeve was, like all ‘East Sheen’ sleeves, stuck together by sellotape. That makes this 3-tracker so Do-It-Yourself. Released on Ed Ball's of the TIMES own private mini label ‘Psycho’ records (catalogue number PSYCHO 1). You can listen to the great title holder ‘East Sheen’ and to the DIY punk anthems ‘Pseudo Punk’ and ‘O Level’. The latter track was not listed on either the sleeve or label, again 100% DIY. The line-up of this 7“ was Edward Ball of TEENAGE FILMSTARS, Dan Treacy the leader of TELEVISION PERSONALITIES and John and Gerrard Bennet of REACTA. What a shame they only ever issued two 7“ records. Again, in perfect condition.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
