Nuggets (Original Artyfacts...) 1972 Elektra 1st Press. A great find! Let's face it, later editions are much easier to find, and most collectors seek out the original for its cover. This one is really nice. A *hint* of ring wear on the top front if you look closely (very hard to see in the photo), but barely visible. The jacket is stiff and crisp, with only a minor bit of wear in the form of a corner bump on the top right of the second gatefold flap. Colors of Abe Gurvin's iconic cover art are bright and vibrant, with no fading; this cover is suitable for framing. Did I also mention that this copy has the original inner sleeves? I am conservatively grading the vinyl at VG based on its appearance. Very light surface scuffs are present, and visible. However, the record actually *plays* like a VG+, with no skips and little surface noise during the songs. The only only exception is at the start of side 2, where uniform light surface noise can be heard for the first 10 seconds of "Oh Yeah". I cannot see the cause of this flaw, and I actually think that it is a pressing defect. Either way, it is minimally intrusive, and it will not detract from your listening enjoyment. Overall, this is a nice copy, hard to find in any condition, and for a reasonable starting bid like this one. You're welcome! :)
