Description
I clicked "SELL ONE LIKE THIS", but this one is SO MUCH NICER than the previous listing it was modeled after that this one is more a "SELL ONE NOT LIKE THIS"!
It has been played only a handful of times. I found it at an estate sale about 15 years ago - I have to believe it was bought in 1966 by friends of the parents of one of the group members.
I've probably owned around 20 copies of this local garage classic, and this is the nicest one ever, with the possible exception of the one I bought myself in the spring of 66, before i took it home and played it!
How nice is it? There is no noise/distortion in the final fading notes of either side!
As a bonus, I will include the 5/17/66 article copied from a Rochester, NY newspaper announcing the record release.
*** This morning, while visiting a friend at the Orchard Rehab Center (600 Bates Rd. Medina, NY 14103) I accidently learned that DICK DOOLAN of the HUMANS is now a patient there. Had a short visit with him. Turns out a spinal problem has gotten so bad that he will be there from here on. Anyway, if you are a garage band fan (why else would you be reading this?), it would be great if you could send him a card (room 257), or find the Center online, and send him a patient email. Ten years ago he was delivering my late wife's "Meals on Wheels" (he still owes me a recycling container, as he backed over ours, but all is forgiven!). Thanks!
