Fairmount 1017 by Frankie Beverly & The Butlers: Because of My Heart b/w I Want To Feel I'm Wanted. ....Classic, fabulous northern soul two-sider from Philly!!!! Very rare and HTF.......  This copy is a nice VG with glossy vinyl and very light marks. The A side is a little cleaner than the B side. Most dealers would probably grade the A side VG+.  As you'll hear on the sound clips, both sides play very quietly, with little or no background noise. On the quiet portions of both sides, there's no background noise to be heard at all. None. This copy offered for sale plays extremely cleanly and quietly!!!...The sound clips were recorded with 3 grams tonearm weight, using an Audio Tecnica AT-LP120 turntable. There are two minor issues: the disc has a slight edge warp, which makes the tone arm bob up and down once per turn, decreasing until the tone arm no longer bobs, half way through each side. This tracks at 3 grams, which is the tracking weight used to record the sound clips offered here. The second issue is a small pinpoint dent at the end of the lead in deadwax, and into the first groove on the A side. This plays through fine, as you'll hear on the sound clip, which starts at the beginning of the lead in dead wax. This same tiny dent turns into a tiny pimple on the B side, and plays through without a problem.......Visual grade VG, plays at least VG++.
