Can I start off by saying that I am selling this ultra rare record for an
Ex collector friend, who was prominant on the scene in the 70s right up to the 2000s.
He was well known for aquiring and selling super rare records and he regularly
supplied many top name DJs with their records.
He has recently fallen ill and because he has had to give up work, has now decided
to sell what he has left to fund his quality of life. He does not have an eBay account.
This is an Acetate which came with the sale of the
Tom Moulton cutting machine from 'Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs' in New York.
There were a number of Acetates that came with the sale and this is one of them.
As far as I and the seller know, the Acetate is from the Re-issued 'Lookalike' release, which was re-issued
due to public demand in the 1970s.
The record is a slightly different version to the Original release with a different beginning which
starts with a 'count in' but the version very much resembles the original.
This is a genuine Pressing plant Acetate and NOT an Emidisc
which bears the 'Frankford/Wayne Labs' name and logo.
The 'A' side is what we know as Robbie Lawson - Burning Sensation,
although on the record it is written as just 'Sensation'.
Again it is a slightly different to the original version (Listen clip)
On the label is written;
Tom Moulton, Paul Keyser Prod, Sensation, and has the
'Frankford Wayne Mastering Labs' name, address and Logo.
On the 'B' side it is blank and has a label residue on it and a drilled hole, Nothing else.
The record is in VG+ condition and it plays loud and clear right through
with no skips or jumps. The record has been pressed slightly
off centre, but this does not cause any distortion.

This is only a 56k MP3 just for the sample.

This is a VERY RARE and most likely one off record/acetate
and would be the pride of any Northern Soul collection.
