Description

The Sheepherders were a "Northern Soul" band performing in and around Virginia and North Carolina in the late '60s thru early '70s.  The A side of the 45 (IF EVER YOU NEED ME) was written by Jones-Lowder-O'sullivan.  I am the "Lowder" on the label of the A side, was the leader of the group for several years and performed the sax solo on the B side (I'm still playing sax, by the way).

The A side of this record is in extremely good shape.  Label is almost perfect (see picture). The B side has a scratch across the grooves in one place but still plays well and label is very good.  As I recall, there were about 200 copies pressed of these recordings.  This record has had no other owners. Record has dust and lint but I am hesitant to clean as I am not a collector and do not have any specialized product to do so.
