top Stafford Northern Soul single featuring Midtempo
Northern Soul of the highest order with Guy Hennigan's
Casanova Bennett cover up at the legendary
Stafford Top of the World Allnighters that is
said to always fill the dancefloor

~ condition ~


record is in Excellent + Condition* with shiny clean vinyl
that has been fully play tested & the A-Side sounds awesome
with just occasional spots with very brief quiet crackle but
the B-Side has a little bit of background noise* throughout and
the record has just a small number of light marks that in no way
interfere with sound which is full, warm & loud with no skips
jumps, tics or repeats & the labels are bright, clean & are mostly
wear-free (the second side has some light rubbing in places)

~ Bobby Hutton ~


Bobby Hutton's career began in Detroit, Michigan which
led to an association with Motown until he moved to Chicago
and was hired by Chess Records where he took Bobby McClure's
place singing with Fontella Bass. He then signed with Phillips
Records recording "Come See What's Left Of Me" & "More Today
Than Yesterday", "I Can't Stand A Woman Two-timing Her Man"
and "You're My Whole Reason" written by Donnie Hathaway (it was
this song that Bobby performed on the very first nationwide
"Soultrain" Show in 1971) & Hutton later signed with ABC Dunhill
where he recorded the Northern Soul Anthem "Lend A Hand"
