THE NEXT FEW LINES, (IN BLACK DOWN
TO THE DOTTED LINE), ARE ITEM SPECIFIC AND
ARE REVISED WITH EACH AUCTION.
This is the record cleaner used by the collector of the records I've been auctioning. It has a self contained vacuum. 6.5 amp maximum draw. There are no papers with it, including no instructions. It comes with about 2/3 bottle of record cleaning fluid. I turned it on and it sounds fine. I believe it to be in good condition but have never used (or seen) one before. I will refund purchase price not including shipping if it is not acceptable and is returned within 3 days of receipt at buyer expense. Shipping is $20.00 via Priority Mail to the contiguous 48 states, $30.00 to Alaska or Hawaii. If shipped internationally I will not include cleaning fluid. Surface parcel post to England would be $43.50 so it's not likely to be worth it unless it sells pretty cheap. This item ships separately and does not qualify for multiple shipping discount.
I was asked if this would clean 45's (see questions). I should have pointed out that if it does it will require a spindle adapter if the 45 has the typical large hole.
In a follow up question I was told that if this is for 45 rpm records the rubber hub would have a raised section to center the record. It does not. In bidding I would assume this is only for 33 rpm sized records.
.................................................................
This is the final phase of the auction of these records. Most are classical, there are a few jazz that weren't paid for in the main auction. My thanks to my regular buyers.
This is part of the estate of an audiophile. The records in this collection have been in storage since 1987. They are being sold for the widow. I am not an audiophile!! I believe them to be in very good condition but I am not qualified to judge them. I have not played any of them in part because I don't have expensive stereo equipment and don't want to damage them. They are sold as I found them without any attempt to clean them or "doll them up".
All pictures are actual, amateur and un-retouched. In my opinion the album jackets frequently photograph to look better than they are.

International Shipping
Please note: I really will not falsify customs values. Don't ask. I show the value as being the actual bid amount without shipping. Please take customs fees into consideration when bidding.
I charge actual postage for an lp sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard and sent in a "bubble envelope" via airmail letter post. Single album shipping to Europe is usually $9.15 U.S.
Shipping insurance, (except for registered mail's limited indemnity), is only available for U.S. shipments. I receive no delivery confirmation unless the buyer requests registered airmail, at their own expense, so my responsibility ends when I take it to the post office. Insurance is not available for international shipping. If you don't request and pay for registered mail please dont ask me to track your purchase for you or send you a tracking number...there is none. I also receive no receipt with information linking it to a specific package when I mail it, just a date and an amount.
If this is not acceptable please don't bid.
For those wanting registered mail click on:
International Mail Manual.
You are likely to receive an invoice from eBay offering shipping services that don't apply to international shipping. Please ignore it. You will receive a real invoice usually within 1/2 hour of the end of the auction. I'm sorry about this but I've been unable to get it straightened out so far.
Addressing conventions vary greatly internationally so I use "copy and paste" to address international packages. Your package will be addressed just as I receive the information.
My standard International shipping is just sandwiching the record between two pieces of cardboard and mailing in a "bubble envelope". If more secure shipping is requested I will ship more securely but the cost is substantially higher to the buyer.
I think all of my domestic shipping is more secure than most. If you are patient enough for media mail I add slightly more protection due to the reduced rate for a heavier package. With media mail shipping I don't receive enroute information.
If requested I will remove the records from the sleeves. Unless instructed otherwise I ship with the records in their sleeves.
Items paid for by 2:00 PM central time, (noon "eBay time") normally ship that day.
I try to answer all submitted questions so they show up on the listing
whether the answer is good or bad so all bidders are working with the
same information.
I have been asked occasionally to pull items off auction and sell them
direct. I will not do that.
I will not falsify customs values (or anything else).
