This is one of those items that eBay has a hard time with, best category I could find was records.  Some are listed under A/V tape cleaning supplies?  Not a good fit either way, eh?  This one is the entry level model from Nitty Gritty, needs cleaning pads, Those are available from various online retailers including eBay.  Works, cleans the record manually.  You spin it, clean the surface that's up, turn it over vacuum the first side, clean the second, turn it over and repeat.  Once you've heard the difference between a CLEAN record and one that isn't, you'll never play a dirty one again.  Dirty records include brand new ones too!  The mod release used during manufacture leaves a film that collects dirt and causes stylus wear.  Thanks for looking, have fun bidding, and read the below.

Our 'Boilerplate' or the fine print covers most of the details  relating to sales in general, please read it!  Some of it surely will not apply to this particular item, but some of it will.    I get really annoyed when asked a question that is clearly answered in this section. Take the time to read it.  Please.  And read all the way to the end because that is where the updates are posted.  Some of this seems rude or redundant, but that is because we are asked the same questions over and over so I try to answer them ahead of time.  Perhaps YOUR question is answered here, so read it and understand it.  Maybe somebody else already asked it too and the answer is at the bottom.  Check it out

Shipping Costs: We work hard to provide quality products with a fair shipping and handling charge.  We carefully weigh and measure EVERY item during the listing to make sure your estimate is accurate.  We do NOT however set the freight rates.  Size and weight together determines the cost!  Please don’t complain to me about how much i twill cost to ship your new toy.  I can do nothing about the costs, they are what they are based on the size and weight of the item.  Open price includes fee from UPS store to provide box and packing.  

If you prefer another carrier because their cost is lower, that is fine provided they will pick up the item or have a conveniently located local terminal; they have proof of delivery signature confirmation; and will insure parcel for full sale value.  We only offer shipping quotes through the eBay freight calculator. YOU must do the research for other carriers!

 USPS or Mailing of items:  Unless there is a USPS mailing option in the listing, the freight calculator will only show UPS charges for both US and international sales.  Again, we will use any freight service of your choice provided they meet some simple criteria- 1)  Local terminal or pickup; 2) Proof of Delivery signature service; 3) insurance for value of item.  

With this in mind, when possible and prudent to do so, we will mail small, lightweight and low value items, both in country and international,  Items under 1# can be shipped USPS Priority mail with charges for Postage & Handling.  We ONLY use USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate in post office supplied flat rate boxes as appropriate.  If the item won't fit in the flat rate box it isn't shipping via USPS!  We do NOT mail any other items!  If we will ship it by USPS mail, we added that service to the freight calculator.  Remember that USPS may not have insurance coverage as many countries have no mail insurance and most have no Delivery Confirmation Service.  Mailed items are FOB Phoenix, AZ 85032.

Current USPS Flat Rate Prices(3/2017) (Subject to change):

ConUS: Large: $18.85; Medium: $113.60; Small: $7.15   Handling$3-5 for all, plus insurance.

International :Large: $89.95; Medium: $68.95; Small $32.95 Handling $3-5 for all, plus insurance.

 International Buyers: Shippers now REQUIRE double boxing for payment of damage claims, so there is often an extra $10-25 for the bigger outer box and all the packing materials added to the freight quote or included in the opening price! This is sometimes added to the Handling Charge which becomes part of the shipping quote.  See item details for more information on these charges.

 Customs & Value Declaration:  The price the items sells at is the price entered for Declared Value.  To do otherwise is tax fraud. It is also the value it will be insured for.

 Operating Voltage: All of the electrical items we sell are US rated models and are therefore 110V60Hz models only.  Whether or not a particular item can or cannot be used or changed to 220V is a question beyond our ability to know.  You must contact the manufacturer of the specific item for details on suitability or use in countries that do not have 110V 60Hz voltages.

Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel international bids if there are too many hassles involved in shipping!  We do NOT ship international by postal service (USPS) EXCEPT in flat rate boxes, please don't ask us to make an exception for YOU. 

Lack of Interest:  We often list odd or esoteric items of interest only to a small or select group, most of our items have a low open price to cover only the cost of listing the item.  Usually we are losing money when we list these items, but hope there is someone out there who wants and or needs it.  If you want this, please don't just watch it, start the bidding so I know there is real interest.  Otherwise it might end up being canceled and you'll miss out.  When Canceled or removed the items go to the recycle station!  If you want it, bid the open which often barely  covers the listing cost! As always, you will determine the value of this item, the open is low and you can have some fun bidding on it and maybe get a bargain!

Combining Items:  Combining small items is easy and cheap, usually add $1 or so for each additional lightweight item in the same box. Electronics components ship in individual boxes so there is no freight savings.  Speakers usually ship in more than one box, caveats for shipping costs will be in the main description.

Payment and Terms: We only accept PayPal or cash with local pickup.  We do not accept any other electronic payments or credit cards.  We do not accept personal checks for any item.  All Sales Are Final and items are sold “As Is and Shown.”  Call 602)920-3367 Monday>Friday12-5 MST, or send me a message through eBay with questions before bidding.  Messages are NOT always replied to on Sunday.  Invoices are sent by Tuesday after the sale closes.  Please be patient, it will come. Payment must be received promptly after invoice date or item will be re-listed and a Non-Performance complaint filed with eBay!  No Excuses!  Don’t bid if you can’t pay!  If your computer crashes all the time, print the description of the item and CALL!  Repeat: There are no excuses to not start closing procedure in 3 (three) days and conclude the transaction in a week or so! 

Local Pickup: Local pickup is allowed during prearranged hours.  State and local sales taxes (6.3%) must be collected.

Warranty:  All Sales Are Final and As Is and Shown.  This means :All items are tested unless mentioned otherwise.  Electronics, due to time and age, are prone to failure from rough handling during shipment. We make no guarantee that they will work after shipment.  MOST will, some will die from parts being shaken, broken or jarred during shipment and because of age they can fail.  Keep in mind that the older it is or the more heat it generated during use, the more prone it is to failure.  I wish this wasn't the truth, but we have had too many items work perfectly here at the store and fail shortly after being shipped.  The freight company wants little or nothing to do with these kinds of claims either, so we have been forced to put this disclaimer of all items being sold with NO GUARANTEE back in the listings.

Feedback:  It is useless for us to post it with the new regulations for seller unless you give us positive and full five star ratings.  Otherwise, feedback has become meaningless.  If you have a problem with your item, please let us know BEFORE you post negative feedback. 

Serial Numbers:  We will never give out the serial number of any piece of gear before the auction closes.  We have valid legal reasons for refusing.  Period.  If you must have a serial number, we will give you all but the last two digits which will be specified as "nn" and it will NOT be included in the listing.   

Buy It Now:  Please don't ask us to add it. Most of our sellers and buyers want the fun of an auction and the thrill of seeing where it will end up.  Don't ask us to add a Buy It Now.  It is not possible to do so once the auction has started and asking us to do so violates eBay policies.
